Seed oils of 12 Salvia species collected from different regions in Turkey (S. Albimaculata Hedge & Hub.-Mor., S. Candidisima Vahl., S. Cedronella Boiss., S. Cryptantha Montbret & Aucher ex Bentham, S. Forskahlei L., S. Fruticosa Miller (Sin. S. Triloba L. Fil), S. Halophila Hedge, S. Hypargeia Fisch. & Mey., S. Sclarea L., S. Tomentosa Miller, S. Tchihatcheffii (Fisch. & Mey.) Boiss., S. Virgata Jacq.) were obtained by Soxhlet apparatus using hexane. The oil yields were found to be between 2.0% and 20.9%. Fatty acids in the oils were converted to methyl esters and determined by GC/MS in methyl ester form. The main fatty acid components of S. halophila, S. Hypargeia, and S. Sclarea are unsaturated oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids. In others except S. Candidissima, the dominant acids are oleic, linoleic and palmitic acids. 相似文献

The calix[4] open-chain crown ether, 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,27-di(2-allyloxyethoxyl)-26,28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene was synthesized and used for preparation of solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fibers of enhanced extraction efficiency. The new SPME coating made from calix[4] open-chain crown ether and hydroxyl-terminated silicone oil was developed with the aid of vinyltriethoxylsilane as bridge using sol-gel method and cross-linking technology. The efficiency of the novel fiber in the extraction of polar aromatic and aliphatic compounds, such as phenols, alcohols, and volatile fatty acids, was also investigated. Due to the introduction of the polar open-chain crown ether in calix[4]arene molecules, the calix[4] open-chain crown ether fiber showed much better selectivity and sensitivity to these polar compounds in comparison with calix[4]arene fiber. It also had superior extraction efficiency when compared to commercial poly(dimethylsiloxane)-divinylbenzene and polyacrylate fibers. Parts per billion to parts per trillion level detection limits were achieved for most of the analytes through SPME in conjunction with GC and flame ionization detector. The linear ranges were two to four orders of magnitude, and the RSD values were below 7% for all analytes. The novel fiber was applied to determine volatile alcohols and fatty acids in wine samples. The volatile-free wine prepared in this work was used to assure similar chemical environment for analytes in both calibration solutions and in real wine samples, thus compensating for possible matrix interferences. 用氯仿 甲醇法测定了广州海鲜市场上棕带仙女蛤、波纹巴非蛤、文蛤、栉孔扇贝和园华扇贝等 5种贝类的脂肪含量 ,并用GC MS法测定了它们的脂肪酸组成。 5种贝类鉴定出的脂肪酸都在 99% (质量分数 )以上。它们的脂肪含量都大于 1% (质量分数 ) ,园华扇贝的脂肪含量最高。它们的ω 3多不饱和脂肪酸与ω 6多不饱和脂肪酸含量的比值基本上都大于 2。两种扇贝的廿碳五烯酸 (EPA)和廿二碳六烯酸 (DHA)含量都比较高。分析结果表明 ,园华扇贝不仅脂肪含量高 ,而且EPA与DHA的含量也比较高 ,是EPA和DHA理想的提取原料 相似文献

Molecular distillation was studied for the separation of tocopherols from soya sludge, both experimentally and by simulation,
under different operating conditions, with good agreement. Evaporator temperatures varied from 100°C to 160°C and feed flow
rates ranged from 0.1 to 0.8 kg/h. The process pressure was maintained at 10−6 bar, the feed temperature at 50°C, the condenser temperature at 60°C, and the stirring at 350 rpm. For each process condition,
samples of both streams (distillate and residue) were collected and stored at −18°C before tocopherols analyses. Owing to
the differences between molecular weights and vapor pressures of free fatty acids and tocopherols, tocopherols preferentially
remained in the residue at evaporator temperatures of 100°C and 120°C, whereas for higher temperatures (140°C and 160°C) and

Identification of cis/trans isomers of unsaturated fatty acids cannot usually be achieved by GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) without reference substances. In this study a GC-FTIR-MS system (gas chromatography-Fourier transform-mass spectrometry) was used to identify fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) and differentiate between the cis/trans isomers. Besides methyl esters, 2-alkenyl-4,4-dimethyloxazoline derivatives (DMOX), which have been used to locate double bond positions of unsaturated fatty acids, were examined with respect to their suitability for cis/trans differentiation. A combined GC-FTIR-MS system with a wide band (4000–550 cm?1) mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) detector was used in series and parallel to identify 31 reference unsaturated fatty acids, including 7 pairs of cis/trans isomers. Serum samples of healthy persons and commercially available fish oil were analyzed as examples of complex mixtures. Using splitless injection the detection limit for the less sensitive IR detector was 25 ng/μl in case of the weak cis and trans bands. In the FTIR spectra cis/trans isomers were identified by analysis of bands arising from C? H out-of-plane (oop) bending: for both the FAME and DMOX derivatives cis-1,2-disubstituted double bonds give a strong band near 720 cm?1 and the corresponding trans isomers near 967 cm?1. cis Isomers could be identified further by a band at 3012 cm?1. With the combined data of the GC-FTIR-MS system it is now possible to identify polyunsaturated fatty acids with regard to the discrimination of cis/trans isomers. 相似文献

Lipids from fruit pulp of the sweet red pepper (Capsicum annuum, Solanaceae) were characterized. The principal components of the lipids from pepper fruit pulp were neutral lipids with predominance of triacylglycerines (55.8%). The fatty acid (FA) composition of total lipids from the marine sponge Tedania dirhaphis from the Sea of Okhotsk was studied. GC and GC-MS identified 50 acids, particular attention being paid to components with 14–22 C atoms. Acids 16-Me-19:0, 10,14-Me2-15:1(Δ6), 18:1(Δ6), 18:1(Δ8), and 22:1(Δ16) were observed and identified for the first time in sponges. Fruits of two varieties of Hippophae rhamnoides L. collected in Kyrgyzstan (I) and Uzbekistan (II) were investigated. Differences in their morphological and biochemical properties were demonstrated. Titrable acids, ascorbic acid, and protein dominated in the fruits of I. Pulp oil of II contained more free fatty acids (acid number 2.9 mg KOH) and carotinoids (419.3 mg%). The principal pulp acid was 16:1. Among the rarely encountered acids of pulp oil, an insignificant quantity of 16:2 was detected (1.2–4.6%). A mixture of 1(3),2-di-O-acyl-3(1)-O-β-gentiobiosylglycerols was isolated from a sea isolate ofBacillus pumilus. The components of the mixture were structurally characterized by mass spectrometry and1H and13C NMR spectroscopy data for the native compounds and their derivatives. The predominant component contains two C15 acyl groups, while the second component contains C15 and C17 fatty acids. Six minor components differ in residues of fatty acids and/or their combinations.

rice grain of Oryza sativa. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques (1H-1HCOSY, 1H-13C HETCOR) aided by EI-MS, and IR spectra.
